Mariah Cina, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the Founder and Owner of Roots Psychiatry. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Anderson University and brings over a decade of experience in the mental health field across diverse settings, including inpatient care, community residential programs, home health and outpatient practices.

Dr. Cina has extensive experience treating individuals across the lifespan, including children and adolescents, and patients from a wide variety of backgrounds and identities. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral and developmental disorder, among others. She provides an integrative approach using medication management and psychotherapy treatment modalities, integrating traditional psychiatric methods with holistic and alternative practices.

At Roots Psychiatry, Dr. Cina leads with a whole-person, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental approach, tailoring treatment to align with each individual’s unique lifestyle, values, and beliefs.
